On November 26th, the Nevada varsity girls basketball team lost 29 to 51 against Grundy Center, who placed second in state last year.
By the end of the first half, the Cubs were down by 21 points. At the beginning of the second half, Nevada was playing much better, and they were able to get a few more points on the board.
Coach Jordan Bentley said, ”We had a great crowd, and I looked forward to us building for our next game.”
The girls play tonight, December 4, at Saydel.
