The Nevada Cub’s Freshman football team put on a show Friday night taking down Roland Story. The score of the match-up was nowhere close, with Nevada blowing out the Norseman 40-6.
“We started the game slow but were able to turn it on in the second quarter,” said Coach Corey Barloon. “The next step for the Cubs is to get better in the off-season by lifting and getting faster. With hard work this group has the potential to be good in years to come,” said Coach Barloon.
The Roland-Story win wraps up the Freshman season. They finished 9-0 for an undefeated season.
