The freshman football team continued their undefeated season at Union on Friday October 12, winning 14-8. The game was a defensive battle with the score being so low.
The Cubs started the game with the best drive of the season and ended up scoring, making it 8-0. The next drive stopped Union short of the end zone, with the Cubs recovering a fumble at the 25 yard line. Caeden DeSilva scored on the next drive with a 75 yard run, making it 14-0. Union scored in the second quarter, and the rest of the game was a defensive battle.
The Cubs will pursue their last game of their undefeated season on Friday, October 19 in Story City.
