The JV girls volleyball Cubs took on Ames on October 11th. This was the the Cubs’ last home game of the season. The Cubs won in three hard-fought sets.
The Cubs came out and won the first game. Ames rallied back the second game but the Nevada girls came back and won the third and final game.
“Our serving and serve receive really helped us win the final game. Jaeden Heintz also had some great sets to our hitters as well. It allowed the hitters to be more aggressive and help get some great hits in,” said Coach Catie Neuman.
On Saturday, October 13th, the JV girls wrapped up the season with an impressive 22-1 record. They finished the season after the Johnston tournament at Johnston.
