On Thursday, October 4th, the Nevada JV Volleyball team played at Greene County and crushed the Rams in just three sets.
The Cubs started great in their first set, beating the Rams, 25-17. The girls showed improvement as the night went on winning their second set 25-10.
The Cubs excelled at serving on Thursday night. The team had 28 aces on the night. Sophomore Bridget Patterson, had an impressive eight aces for the Cubsand
Coach Lori Stephenson said, “The girls did a nice job serving to targets and really pushing Greene County out of system.”
When the Greene County Rams did get to focus on offense, the Cubs had them well covered by strong back row defense by Addi Vorm and Ashlynn Sporrer.
The Cubs will take on the Gilbert Cubs on Tuesday, October 9th.
