On September 24th, the energetic 7th grade Nevada Cub volleyball team competed against the Roland-Story Norsemen. A team tied, B team lost, and C team tied against the Norsemen.
The first A game ended 21-17, and the second ended 11-21. The B team fought hard in game one, ending 18-21. It won game two 21-15. The C team won the first game 21-18 and lost the second game 14-21.
“The result of the games really came down to serving. The team that won had the best serving for that game. We did a nice job working on our rotations and getting three hits in the game that we won,” said Coach Corey Long.
Overall the Cubs did great and put in tons of effort. The Cubs play next North Polk October 8.
