The Nevada seventh grade volleyball played Gilbert on September 17. The A Team won their first game, 21-13, and lost the second game, 17-21.
“We did a great job in the first game with our serving, but really struggled with serving in the second which resulted in the score,” said Coach Corey Long.
The B team lost the first one in a close game, 21-23, and then won the second game in a hard fought battle, 23-21. The C team struggled in the first game losing, 8-21, but they improved quickly in the second game, losing 15-21, and then lost the final game, 13-21.
“Overall as a team we are improving, we just need to stay focused for the entire night and play our best every match,” said Coach Corey Long.
