On Friday, September 7th, the Nevada Cubs 9th grade football team put on a dominate performance as the team played Perry and won 47-0. Nevada had an awesome performance with many players playing to their full potential and doing everything right.
Coach Corey Barloon said, “The Cubs’ offense was clicking on all cylinders and many players contributed to a lopsided game.”
Overall, the Freshmen Cubs football team played an overall well-rounded game and didn’t show a lot of things needed to be improved on. The team’s main goals for the next game are to focus on line play, team unity, and playing to their potential.
