On May 29th the 8th grade girls had their first softball game of the season against Greene County. Their game was cut short due to rain and ended in the fourth inning. The teams tied 5-5.
They played very well for their first game of the season. Coach Chris Hinson said the only thing they just need some more practices to need to get the rust off and play with more confidence.
People who played well were Maria Rivera who had a great hit and Savannah Skaggs did a great job on defense. Katelyn Khounsourath also got on base many times and scored three of their runs.
