On Wednesday, May 23, the Nevada girls softball team came up short to Iowa Falls-Alden 4-2, but the Cubs fought hard.
“We battled all night but couldn’t come up with the timely hit we needed,” said Head Coach John Bass.
Brooke Jensen pitched well for the night, and Caitlyn Sharp had four stolen bases. The team as a whole had seven steals.
Behind the bats, Katie Sullivan had two hits and an RBI. Mady Farmer, Ellie Gray, and Brooke Jensen all each had hits.
