On May 11, the Nevada girls varsity soccer team played Gilbert @ Gilbert and lost with a final score of 0-1.
Nevada’s defense was good throughout the whole game. They kept Gilbert to just one goal.
On the offensive end, the Cubs did not score, but they had four shots on goal.
“We did a great job defending, but we could not convert on any of our shots on goal,” said Coach Randy Davis.
Hattie Rhodes and Hannah Thomsen both had one shot on goal, and Maddie Stevens had two shots on goal.
