On Thursday, April 26, the middle school boys track team competed at Ballard.
Overall everything went well and everyone competed well.
In the field events, James Edwards placed third on long jump. Billy Gibbons placed fourth in the long jump.
Caedan DaSilva got first in the high jump, and set a new school record jumping 5’8″. He also won the 100 meter dash. Nate Anderson compete well as a 7th grader in the shot put and discus, where he placed 5th in both events.
In the sprint medley relay, Aiden Freeman, Caleb Kooiker, James Edwards, and Caedan DaSilva placed second.
“We need to continue to work on consistency each meet,” said Coach Andrew Kleeman. The team has continued to improve and hope to be at their best as they approach conference on Friday.
