On April 17th the seventh and eighth grade boys track team had a track meet at Nevada. Both teams did very well placing in many events.
The seventh graders did well in their track meet winning and placing in many events. The runner who really stood out was Nate Anderson being the only person to place first in seventh grade track meet with his discus throw of 88-05.
The eighth grade track meet was even better placing and winning even more events. Many of the events they ran they placed top three or better. The players who need to be mentioned are the 4×200 runners. They were 15 hundreths off the school record. This team consists of Gavin Melohn, Caleb Kooiker, James Edwards, and Caeden daSilva. The 4×100 team also got first place, which were Gavin Melohn, Caleb Kooiker, James Edwards, and Caeden daSilva.
