The 7th grade boys basketball team played the Roland-Story Norsemen on February 6 in Nevada. The Cubs lost 18-27.
The Cubs were led by Karter Beving on offense. He scored seven points.
On defense, Carson Rhodes and Carson Mather both played strong post defense which stopped the Norsemen from scoring early.
Coach John Jamison said, “We attacked the hoop well in the first half and were able to build an eight point lead. Our guards took care of the ball and applied good ball pressure which helped keep Roland Story from scoring early.”
