On February 1, the 9th grade boys beat South Hamilton 36-31. By halftime, Nevada had 18 points and gained another 18 points between the 3rd and 4th quarters.
“We played really well, even without one of our starters,” said Coach Jon Kruse. “We gained some experience of playing in a close game at the end again and were able to come out with the win.”
Ayden Rhodes led the team with 16 points, followed by Caden Jones at 10 points and Blake Bottorf at seven points. The team had 18 defense rebounds and 16 points in the paint.
