On Tuesday, January 30, the Nevada 9th grade boys basketball team swept the Saydel Eagles, 52-33. On the defensive end, the cubs had a slow start but in the second quarter they only gave up five points. On the offensive side, the Cubs had a ball.
“We played well, and Cooper Bovee was the leading scorer with 16 points followed by Blake Bottorf with 10”, said Coach Jon Kruse. Coach Kruse also said that they did a good job with not fouling.
