On February 2, Nevada’s 9th grade boys basketball team won 47- 45 against Gilbert.
“They made a run in the 4th quarter after we had taken the lead but we withstood the run and made some plays at the end,” said Coach Jon Kruse.
Leading the team in points was Ayden Rhodes with 16 points and behind him was Cooper Bovee with 12 points. Overall, Nevada had 30 defensive rebounds, 19 turnovers and 28 points in the paint.
The next game for the 9th grade boys basketball team is February 6 against Grundy Center. Go Cubs!
