The 8th grade boys basketball team played the North Polk Comets on February 1. The A team won 49-34, B team lost 14-30, and the C team won 14-13.
The A team was led by James Edwards with 13 points and Ty Dittmer with seven points
Coach Brook Thompson said, “The boys are playing excellent team basketball, and they are playing for each other and the name on their jersey.”
The B team was led by Brandon Sampson, Will Kerns, Cael Franzen, Logan Bullock who all helped out on defense and had many steals.
The C team was led by Aiden Williams, Enoch Skelton, and Caelan Sullivan-Pecha who were all aggressive on the offensive side and knocked down many big shots.
Coach Thompson said, “The boys handled the pressure of being in a close game.”
