On January 29 the Nevada JV boys played PCM. The Cubs were in the lead for the entire game and won the game with ease, 48-35.
“We played very good defence for the entire game and only allowed PCM to score 15 points in the first half,” said Coach Greg Baethke. The Cubs defense held the Mustangs to three single- digit-scoring quarters. All the players have shown growth since Christmas break.
Kody Kruschwitz led the Cubs in scoring with 20 points. Henry Nelson had five. Jarret Fredin and Brayden Bottorff both chipped in four.
The next game for the Cubs is on January 30 against Saydel at home.
