The Nevada varsity boys basketball team played against Bondurant-Farrar in Bondurant Thursday, January 18. The Cubs lost with the score of 67-73. However, it was a close and a hard fought game.
The Cubs played well in the first half as they were up 33-30. As they got to end of the third quarter, they were down by three and weren’t able to come back in the fourth.
Trent Stahl had a good game with 20 points and 7 assists. Om’Unique Wilkerson also played a good game with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
“I was really proud of our effort and how we battled, but we have to find some ways to get more stops on defense to win close games like that,” said Coach Chris Hinson.
The Cubs’ next game is in Monroe against PCM Tuesday, January 23.
