Coach Chris Hinson answered a few questions about the boys varsity basketball game on Saturday, December 16. The game was against Ballard.
“The boys put forth a good effort in the game, even though it was lost, 59-81,” said Coach Hinson. “They played well in most areas, and their efficiency on offense was pretty good. We took care of the ball pretty well, and played pretty hard and competed.”
The Cubs had some trouble with Ballard because the Bombers shot very well. Coach Hinson said that the boys could have done a bit better at getting on defense and controlling rebounds, as well as going after loose balls.
Though they have a few things to work on, the team played well and will work to improve for their game tonight against Green County.
