On Tuesday, November 28, the Nevada varsity girls took on Grand View Christian. The Cubs seemed to dominate the Thunder, as they won 71-35. Not only was it a great team win, Lexy Koudelka scored 40 points to set the Nevada record for points in a game.
Coach Tony Neubauer said that his team did a nice job on the defensive end of the court which led to great transition offense. They also did great in their half court offense. He said Hattie Rhodes did a great job of guarding GVC’s leading scorer and making things tough for her. Coach Neubauer said they just need to continue to get better every day, focus on shooting better, and limit turnovers. It should be a great season for the Cubs this year.
