On Monday, November 20th, the 7th grade Nevada girls basketball team took on the South Hamilton Hawks. It was a nail biting type of game, as the final score was decided by just one point. But the Hawks prevailed in the end as they took the victory, 19-18.
Coaches Corey Long and Jill Gray said that their team did a nice job running their zone offense against the Hawks. Coach Long said he would like to improve his team’s ability to finish at the basket and in breaking the opposing team’s press.
The Nevada B team also took on the Hawks, but lost 18-6.
